NEVER order flowers online ( ie. Teleflora, FTD, Etc. )
ALWAYS do research when using a florist your not familiar with.
Always see what kind of website the Florist has, Most are terrible and the Arrangements are tasteless and tacky. My Rule of thumb is - When ordering flowers in a town you don't know. Call a 4 Star hotel in the Area ( Example, The Four Seasons ) and ask which Florist they use for the Hotel.
BE SPECIFIC: To make sure a florist will deliver a tasteful arrangement. Be very Specific in what you want. I always make sure arrangements are in square pave glass vase. Choose 1 or 2 Specific flowers in a desired color, and make sure they NEVER use filler flowers ( Example Babies Breathe.. Yuck! )
I always Trust a Fantastic Florist like the Empty Vase, All Their arrangements look spectacular. And I have been using them For years.
